Samsung is going to unveil four brand new smartphones at its Galaxy Unpacked event on Wednesday January 22.
The South Korean smartphone manufacturer has published a short video on YouTube, announcing the Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung is going to use the podium to unveil its newest flagships in the Galaxy S25 series.
In the video we can see the contours of four different smartphones.
In recent years, Samsung introduced only three new phones at the Galaxy Unpacked event. Last year, Samsung showed the Samsung Galaxy S24, Samsung Galaxy S24+ and Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra. Later that year, in September, the Samsung Galaxy S24 FE was revealed. Perhaps we will get to see all four of them in a few weeks.
Rumors suggest we get to see an even thinner version of Samsung’s high-end flagship.
Although the video doesn’t say anything about what’s under the hood, it does show us that the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will probably be less angular than its predecessors.
Lastly, Samsung suggests that the new phones will have artificial intelligence (AI) features, just like last year’s models. A voice over asks the phone to add the Galaxy Unpacked event to its calendar, displaying ‘Galaxy AI’ on the screen.
Pricewise it remains unclear what Samsung is going to do. At launch, the Samsung Galaxy S24 had a price tag of €899, but has since then dropped to approximately €600. Its successor will probably be in the same ballpark.
The Galaxy Unpacked 2025 event will be live on Samsung’s website on Wednesday January 22.
Samsung is currently at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas and has announced several new devices, including the Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro, Samsung Galaxy Book5 Pro 360, and Samsung The Frame Pro television.
