GDTC Report: The Evolving Role of Monitors

The report GDTC offers insights into new interactive experiences that modern displays offer for work, creativity and interaction. The high-performance monitor segment is growing explosively – by more than 200 % over the last three years – driven primarily by the new hybrid ways of working. Strong tailwinds are also provided by the increasing presence of VR/AR solutions and growing demands on high pixel density and colour accuracy as well as on higher refresh rates and ergonomics.

The future of the datacentre or GDTC is here – and according to new research issued by analyst house Gartner it is going to be sustainable, efficient and connected.

CEO of CECA, Olivera Markovic said at the CECA 2018 Conference that the digital revolution is here to stay and we will need monitors to be our digital eyes in the future. She said that the Conference marked the beginning of the exploration of new generation of display technologies and their impact on our future work, creativity and daily life.
