Lenovo launches Lenovo Tab Plus ‘music tablet’ with eight speakers

Lenovo has announced the Lenovo Tab Plus, a brand-new tablet with eight JBL speakers designed for music lovers. The company calls it ‘a music lover’s dream’.

The Lenovo Tab Plus has a 11.5 inch 2K display with 90 Hz refresh rate and a brightness of 400 nits. It’s also compatible with the Lenovo Tab Pen Plus. Powered by a MediaTek G99 octa-core processor, it packs 8 GB of RAM and either 128 GB or 256 GB of expandable storage, depending on the market.

What makes the Lenovo Tab Plus stand out are its eight JBL Hi-Fi speakers, including four matrix tweeters and four force-balanced woofers for a more pronounced bass and clearer treble. In addition, the tablet supports high-res audio and is tuned by Dolby Atmos.

For fine-tuning your audio settings, Lenovo added a sonar customization tool. The Beijing-based tech company promises a crisp and clear music experience.

Underneath the housing there’s a 8600 mAh battery that lets you stream music and videos for up to 12 hours. Thanks to 45 watt fast charging, a depleted battery is fully charged in only 90 minutes.

It’s best to keep the Lenovo Tab Plus away from water. It only has an IP52 dust and water resistance rating, meaning it will only be protected by accidental spills and light splashes of water. Furthermore, the tablet has an USB Type-C charging port, 3.5mm audio jack and a 8MP camera on both the front and the rear.

The Lenovo Tab Plus runs Android 14 out of the box. Lenovo promises at least two major OS upgrades. Security updates will be available until June 2028.

The Lenovo Tab Plus is available in selected markets for a starting price of 279 euros.
